A little insight into how I made this poster. First, an ink drawing with a Pentel Pocket Brush (my best friend), then on a separate sheet, an 6B pencil accent/shadow layer. Scanned both and combined them, then digitally fiddled with the colors. Voila!

Listen/purchase: FORTHCOMING NANCY PANTS ALBUM by nancy pants
Hey guys! I started a new band with fellow illustrator Ohara Hale called Nancy Pants. Check us out! Ohara sings and plays guitar, and I play bass. Drums are handled by Jeremy MacCuish from Parlovr and Nanimal. Ohara and I conceived the idea to start a fun low-stakes pop punk band together on our road trip to TCAF this past May and shit is finally happening for realz. It’s a super fun project and I hope you like this first little offering. We’re working on a full-length record (on my computer at my rehearsal space), and at the rate we’re going (effortless supersonic hyperspeed) it should be done in the next couple of months. After only like 4 practices we have something like 10 songs. funnnnnnnn
Hey! Just to let you know, due to popular demand I’ve reprinted Special Agents, my saucy 12 page Mulder/Scully romance zine, and they’re back in stock at my Etsy store! Get em while they last!
Thanks to Colour Code Printing for once again doing an amazing job with the print job. It’s risograph printed in blue and fluorescent pink (which is much more vibrant in person). <3 <3 <3
